Saturday I had my fancy fancy costume ball for my birthday. Pretending I have money, I hired a DJ & rented a place & bought a cake...I sent out REAL FANCY PAPER INVITES.
I got between 60-70 people RSVP-ing.
Maybe 30 showed up.
I mean, I had a really good time, and my costume was wonderful, and my hair looked great...and everyone there told me over & over how fun it was... And I'm trying not to be ranty and passive-aggressive, but GAH! I spent a bunch of money getting food & cake for 70 people, and now have a refrigerator full of leftovers. Which, okay, leftovers yay! but godammit, if you don't want to go then don't RSVP! *grumbles*
ANYWAY, moving on...
I'm trying my hand at making my first vid (first vid not boring and for school, that is). I'm going to try getting a new video editor, though...my old trial of Director for school has expired, so I tried WMM, which won't even OPEN the giant .avi of Alice part 2, so I'm working in Nero. Nero is not my friend, let's say. So if anyone knows of a reasonably priced (say under $100) video editing program that they like to use, please point me that way.
AND begging on my knees: if anyone has Alice Part 1 could you please email me or PM me or something? I'll send you cake!! Or something that won't rot in the mail... I've tried two different links to DL it, have sought torrents...all to no avail. SAD PANDA.

The big party is this weekend, and then I get to stop worrying about caterers & cakes & balloons, and just HAVE FUN. IN COSTUME, BEETCHES!
Am off to the Kelly Clarkson concert tonight as I got tickets for just the price of service charge ($6.00 a piece). Whoot!

I finally finally got my drums for Rock Band 2...and the yellow pad doesn't work. Doesn't register at all that I'm hitting it. *HEADDESK*
AND OF COURSE you can't just return the blasted thing to the store--oh no! You have to contact EA & jump through hoops, etc. until they're willing to send you a new one.
